SOA is done in by inspired action scenes in which Jack, Clay, Chib,Tig Bobby athletic prowess is rendered watchable by hyper-editing, a shameful reliance on cliches to move the story forward, and so many loose ends that you wonder if 20 minutes were accidentally cut out from the epizods. There are countless clever shepherdly series as well, as some quite outstanding rants called american hustle..!? It's a rich, glorious mess, and its underlying craftsmanship is apparent in the characters' beautifully delineated relationships, each with its own jangly rhythm and distinct feel. Rewriting history is just a small step for humanity..!?
