Troubled Resorts Atlantic City casino is purchased by gaming executive

ATLANTIC CITY ā€” Atlantic City's first casino will be sold to gaming executive Dennis Gomes, according to a report on PressofAtlanticCity.com.

Resorts Atlantic City, which opened in 1978, has had a history of multiple bankruptcies, several owners and expansion plans that were never fulfilled, the report said.
