A very decent show if you manage to get past first 3 EPs where the 99% of S1 ecchi budget is gathered in a one giant pile of deadly concentration.
Once they start to go to the cosplay events, general vibe gradually changes.
It is a story about different people coming together to be friends, overcoming their differences, past traumas and family troubles. A somewhat heartwarming comedy with occasional little drama.
Basically, this is a sitcom about otaku doing silly and often hilarious things together, centered on cosplay.
Romance plays a very minor role, it only picks up a little towards the end.
