The Legend of the Legendary Heroes (contender for the most generic name award) comes close to greatness in many ways, but always falls short by a bit.
- It features a sizable cast of interesting characters who undergo properly great development, but none of their arcs resolve satisfyingly within this season.
- The plot similarly gets more and more interesting as it goes on, but only really reaches the cliff and doesn't even get to hang from it.
- Many of the characters tout anti-war ideologies, but all of their ideas are problematic at best and terrifying at worst.
- Great balance between drama and comedy. Mind you, none of the jokes are even the slightest bit orginal, but the commitment to the bits sells them more often than not and is incredibly endearing on its own.
Still an easy recommendation all in all, the character development alone makes it worth a watch. Just be mindful that there are no resolutions waiting for you at the end.
