This show is a hidden gem. MobuSeka belongs on the same shelf with KonoSuba.
There are a lot of similarities in the way how both of those creations make a smart and sarcastic mockery of the whole isekai genre implementing all the usual troupes in an original way.
For example, take the MC. 99.99% of isekai give protag something to use as a cheat - a skill, a power, a magic item. Leon gets nothing. His starting position sucks big time, he is a 2nd son of a consort of lowly noble with a giant list of responsibilities and almost no rights. In a matriarchy. Leon is pissed about this (can you blame him?), so he takes a proactive stance.
It's very fun to watch how he utilizes the knowledge he got prior to reincarnation to get out of his predicaments some of which creates himself.
Also, the treasure trove:
S1 covers 38 chapters of manga. There are 68 chapters that cover 3 out of 13 LN volumes. S2 should cover the whole story of the game. But then, there were sequels.

MC is blackmailed into playing a dating sim by his sister and he absolutely hates the characters in it. Ironically, when he dies in an accident, he is reborn into that world as a BACKGROUND character.
He wants a peaceful life, but he also detests the handsome love interests in the game and wants to humiliate them as much as possible. These two conflicting interests forces him to do things that end up in several comedic situations. This is what the story is mainly about. Add in another reborn character who wants to create her own harm and thinks of him as an enemy, and you have one crazy situation after another.
There are lots of faults too, lots of inconsistencies and the story jumps around a bit to. Still it was a fun ride.

After reading description, some recommendations and even short teaser, I gave up watching it for quiet some months, in the end someone told me to try and I ended up liking it a lot. Honestly speaking plot is non-existant, very shallow, after 1st season I still don't really see any goal this anime could lead to. I just found characters very likeable and silly romance in the background spices things up, in the end I'm glad I watched it and I'm looking forward to next season. It maybe doesn't deserve 'must see', but it definitely doesn't deserve such low ratings as well.

Good - nice touch for playing parody in all that average year-to-year harem, isekai, school, etc. anime. Spiced with antihero & murderous AI notes.
Bad - average look. Graphics here is so neutral - that I even forget that I looked it.

A pretty fun watch, and have a very good start, until around 8th episode, then it just tries to wrap up the story and follow the pattern of standard isekai series.

It turned out to be much better than expected. I was sceptical due to hype, but it is indeed good isekai. In my personal opinion, plot about being reincarnated into game could have been entirely avoided as MC is quite clever even without using pre-reincarnation knowledge.

This was a really interesting take on an isekai. A rather unique approach and quite enjoyable. The MC's "misfortune" is a running theme through the series and really adds to the humor of the series. Additionally, the way he has inside knowledge of the workings of this world makes his ability to be a real self-serving scumbag that much better. There were a few things that I was hoping to have happen in this series that didn't, but maybe there'll be another season, but probably not.
I had a feeling I'd like this, it may be hit or miss for some people based on the characters' personalities, but I still think it's worth giving a go.

Being reincarnated into a dating sim game was interesting. The MC will probably be hit or miss for some as he has this "I don't care" attitude and antagonizes the enemy, but for me, I thought it was funny... so your mileage on this character may vary. This show does a good job having a lot of unlikable villians. Although, there was a lot of un-needed melodrama throughout the anime. Nevertheless, this was still an enjoyable watch and I wouldn't mind another season.
