A time researcher and a group of children in a depopulated world find themselves stuck in time. In order to save humanity, some of the characters are chosen to travel to the future (depicted in the anime), and others to the past (depicted in the manga), while those who are deemed unsuitable for the technology stay in the present (depicted in the novel).

I don't regret watching this, but it needs more story. The atmosphere and the graphics were pretty nice though.

This show threw me a bit as the plot seems a little... non-existent, however it is part of a mixed-media story (it also has a novel and a manga) so if you read those it might make a more sense. With that said, I believe that it is still worth the watch as it is beautifully done.
