Koike Takeshi was born January 26, 1968 in Ueyama, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan. He is an animator and director.

After graduating from high school he joined Madhouse, where he made his debut as animator on Goku. He directing debut was as co-director on the short Trava Fist Planet. He is currently freelance.
