Japan Taps was a Japanese animation company founded in 1990 as a joint venture between the animation studio Asia-dou and the toy maker company Takara Co., LTD. The company was located in Koganei City, Tokyo, Japan. It was created by Takara in an attempt to broadcast its own anime with a single sponsor, without going through an agency.

The company disbanded around 1995.
