There was a strong Australian flavour at Super Bowl LIX, and while this is thanks in part to some Jordan Mailata heroics, our TAB Super Bowl Watch Parties served up plenty of action, too. Across the network, we helped over 200 venue partners elevate their Super Bowl events, with key executions at The Sporting Globe and Hotel Steyne. It’s shaping up to be a magic summer! TAB is proud to announce emerging filly Vestas as their runner for the new $3 million TAB Magic Millions Sunlight race, which will be run on the Gold Coast on 4 January. Trained by Clinton McDonald, the exciting 3-year-old impressed the selection committee with eye-catching performances at Cranbourne on debut and Flemington during the Melbourne Cup Carnival. "Vestas ticked all the right boxes for us in terms of ability, form and a quality trainer from a renowned stable," said Brett Boyd, Tabcorp's Head of Racing Industry Partnerships. “This will no doubt be a strong field as other slots are filled but if she can repeat what we’ve seen at Flemington in the Spring, then we’re confident we can back up Bella Nipotina’s success at the TAB Everest by selecting another successful starter in a major slot race.” It promises to be a huge night under the lights at Aquis Park - Home of the Gold Coast Turf Club and Event Centre.
