  • THE GROW ME GUIDE

    Ignite Purpose

GROW ME is a guide that has been written to help support your growth and performance, personally and professionally.

This is a practical guide to recognise where to start, how to reflect and take ownership of who you are and where you take your life. Some of the benefits to GROW ME are: better relationships with the people in your life, a shift in how you see and experience your world, an increase in your ability to be more effective at your work and life challenges.

Finally, if we all work on who we are, we will learn how to be better together, create the culture we want to live and thrive in and ensure we all use what we have to be purposeful. Why not control the things you have and become the ME you want to BE?

  • THE STORY OF ASTRA THE UNICORN FINDING HER BELONGING

    Ignite Purpose

This is a human story. It is meant for children and adults. A story of being alone and feeling sad is human.

This book is Astra’s story of love and being loved. Astra finds her ability to use her voice and her sparkle to make a difference to others. She is like we are, looking to find our place and to be accepted, and she finds that her acceptance comes from the courage to be who she is. The courage to help others.

The courage to be seen and heard. This story is also about the wonderful friends Astra finds who show her kindness and empathy. Maybe we can be kind to others and help them find their way too.

Our beauty as humans is to know our worth, believe we are perfectly ‘imperfect’ and be willing to share who we are with the world.

  • Barriers To High Performance. Are You One?

High Performance is a well-researched and constantly evolving theme. In our findings and daily consulting practice we realise that identifying and reducing or eliminating barriers is where breakthroughs happen. When we do this teams and organisations can move off the “plateau” and on to their next performance goal and achieve outstanding results together.

The challenge is we (organisations and leaders) generally focus on the “Hard Elements” like skills, structure, process and training for teams. What we at Ignite Purpose see being avoided are the human or “soft elements” like insight, growth mindset, feedback, grace, accountability and most of all extreme ownership around impact.

The four windows of personal growth and the fifth element of trust
There are so many things that enable and disable high-performance. What are we in control of? When I speak about time leadership I often speak about two keys, owning yourself and owning your priorities. Looking at high-performance, it’s not that dissimilar. When I consider achieving high-performance what am I in control of? What should I be focusing on? In this paper, I would like to cover what you can control: Your Four…

Ignite Purpose: Purpose HIVE - Grow Me

We know that in High-Performance Cultures the opportunity for growth will never end. Our leaders are innovative and forward-thinking and will challenge us to do the same. It’s not winning or losing it’s having the willingness to be seen when we don’t have control over the outcome. It’s the openness to acknowledge that people matter.

Changing landscape - Challenging strategy, execution, motivators, engagement

From 1 July FoFa will be a reality for financial planners and practice teams. Since launching Silega in Australia in early 2013, we have seen the value of helping teams of planners rethink their ability to flex, engage and deliver in a market place that will be changing and delivering unknown opportunities and challenges. Our clients have a clear mandate to support their teams, people and ultimately their organisations to be equipped to deal with the change ahead. Many have focused on compliance, education, sales engagement.... how many really know how ready their teams are to engage in the unknown?

Silega Expedition is a highly engaging simulation that will not only create a mirror on where people are in their thinking on change and uncertainty, it is also a platform for coaching and development conversations when back in the work place.

Image climbing Mt Everest and having only 31 days to deliver a defined result. Not having clarity on the weather and mountain conditions, but being equipped with all the possible tools to help your success.

Welcome to 1 July. People are equipped and ready to meet the challeng, what is the challenge in reality and how will they: Make decisions, flex their thinking, deliver results, realign their strategy, measure how the feel and work with their team and ultimately deliver a defined result for their client and their organisation.

This is an ongoing project with various clients in the Financial Planning world and we look forward to posting measurable success stories.

Working with every area of this business to understand what the current culture looked like and creating an desire to align to a "GREAT" company. (Future success measured into behaviours, actions and outcomes)

Through this project I spent time with people and leaders to define what they would like the future to be and what values delivered in observable behaviours would achieve that future.

Working with the executive team, we aligned their purpose into their strategy before agreeing on the values that would be selected for the organisation moving forward.

Helping the leadership team consider the road map of actions, thinking and execution needed to achieve the most sustained results with people. I challenged thinking on how the values need to be fully integrated to achieve the best change for people, leaders and the organisation as a whole.

This is now an ongoing change program for the organisation.
