🚨 tj-actions Breach: What You Need to Know If you use GitHub Actions, you need to stop what you’re doing and check your repositories. The tj-actions/changed-files GitHub Action—used by 23K+ projects—was compromised in a supply chain attack, exposing credentials like AWS keys, GitHub tokens, and more. Our advocate Mackenzie Jackson broke down they key points: ✅ What happened ✅ How to check if you were affected ✅ What you need to do to secure your projects If you want to check to see if you are affected by this issue Aikido Security can now search though your GitHub actions file to see if you have any exposure to the breach.

The GitHub Action, which is currently used in over 23,000 repositories, was compromised this weekend, leaking secrets through workflow logs and impacting thousands of CI pipelines. We released a new SAST rule that flags any tj-actions/changed-files usage with critical severity (Score 100).
