Where does #medical #innovation come from? Everything starts with #patients’ #unmet medical #needs. The first step for researchers is to understand how any new therapy could address a problem that is not covered by existing treatments. Hear more from Lundbeck colleagues Jose Luis Molinuevo, Johannes Streffer, Magdalena Jayatissa and Agathe Le Lay as they share why embracing a broad definition of unmet need is essential to delivering what matters to patients: https://lnkd.in/dZQqHajp #WeWontRest

Today marks a significant step forward in Chiesi’s journey to ensure patients' health and sustainable healthcare solutions. Just a few months after the inauguration of our Biotech Center, we are excited to announce a €430 million investment in Nerviano, Northern Italy, to build a cutting-edge manufacturing facility. The plant will be primarily dedicated to manufacturing carbon-minimal inhalers, dry powder inhalers and sterile biological products. In line with our goal to achieve Net-Zero emissions by 2035, we’re not building a new plant but transforming a historic industrial site into a next-generation manufacturing hub, equipping it with state-of-the-art laboratories and a self-sufficient photovoltaic park. By 2029, the new site will create hundreds of highly skilled jobs, welcoming new talents to our team as we continue shaping the future of healthcare.
