Oštro is based on 4 pillars: Investigative and data journalism, defending the right to information and developing future generations of journalists. The project FLUX connects passionate female artists, graphic designers, and photographers with blockchain, art, and strategy experts through the Blockchain Art Academy. What can the 2024 UN-Vote on the Srebrenica Genocide tell us about historical memory and reconciliation in the former Yugoslavia? My article investigates the reactions of Serbia, Bosnia, Kosovo and Croatia to the 2024 Resolution on the Srebrenica Genocide, Designating an International Day of Reflection and Commemoration. It delves into the essential struggle over historical memory that continues to shape political narratives and reconciliation in the region. The main take aways are that reconciliation remains a distant objective with historical revionism and denial being wide spread. Further, the relatively weak global support for the resolution exposes the fragility of historical consensus, even with such overwhelming evidence as presented by the ICTY. It has now been published by No Oblivion among 12 other intriguing pieces evoking the crimes committed in the Former Yugoslavia.
