Canada's window of opportunity in carbon removal is NOW! Proud to be featured in Latitude Media discussing this critical moment. "We absolutely are seeing a lot more interest in Canada from [both] American companies and companies that were thinking about setting up shop in America. The biggest thing we hear is they want policy certainty, and they don't feel like they're getting that in the United States." At Carbon Removal Canada, we're witnessing unprecedented interest - our annual Carbon Removal Day doubled in attendance this year, with international participants making a large percentage of the attendees. This isn't just chance. Our federal DAC protocol, robust tax incentives, and political pragmatism across party lines create the stability that innovation demands. The potential? 300,000+ jobs, $143B in GDP, and billions in demand for trade-impacted industries. Interested in Canada for your #carbonremoval company? Last month, I joined an incredible panel at Carbon Removal Canada annual event in the City of Ottawa / Ville d’Ottawa where visionary founders are pioneering new ways to capture and store carbon. My main focus? #Relationships—how our economic systems have driven pollution and broken our symbiosis with nature, sparking the need for these cutting-edge solutions. To truly succeed in this space, we must build new commercial markets for CO₂ capture, and Canada can lead the way. Just as importantly, these innovations should consult and engage Indigenous Nations, who have long championed harmony with the environment. It was a enriching to be part of this dialogue, and I’m excited about the possibilities for a more sustainable future. CarbonRun Deep Sky TerraFixing Vida Gabriel (Ph.D) Luke Connell Phil De Luna

🇨🇦 Help shape the future of carbon removal in Canada 🇨🇦 📊 Canada’s carbon removal sector is growing fast, but to track progress, shape policy, and support industry growth, we need more comprehensive data. That’s why Carbon Removal Canada is launching an interactive industry dashboard, and they need input from across the sector. 💡 The dashboard is intended to serve as a critical resource and knowledge hub for industry stakeholders, providing a comprehensive view of Canada’s carbon removal landscape. 💰With $3.1 billion allocated over the first five years and a projected extension to $7.6 billion by 2030, Canada is making a significant investment in scaling CCS and CDR as part of its carbon management strategy. But how big is the sector? Where are the key projects? What’s missing? The dashboard aims to answer these questions and more. 💼 If you’re part of the CDR value chain: supplier, buyer, supply chain partners, or an international CDR company with projects in Canada, this is your chance to contribute data and help shape the future of Canada’s carbon removal industry. 📅 First round of data submissions closes March 31. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it. Tagging for reach: Carbon Engineering Svanteinc Deep Sky Planetary CarbiCrete CO280 CleanO2 Carbon Capture Technologies. If you know a company that should be part of this, tag them in the comments! 🔗 Submit data here: https://lnkd.in/d3usx2tX
