“We're here today with this wonderful group of people from different companies, different technologies, different sectors and we really think that participating in platforms, events, conferences, and other opportunities to share best practices is an incredibly effective way to move forward together.”   Carbon Engineering's Policy and Engagement Lead, Adam Baylin-Stern, recently presented at the CLIMIT Summit 2025 in Larvik, Norway, where he shared insights on our Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology as a scalable solution for carbon dioxide removal (CDR).   Adam also had the honour of presenting the SMART-CDR (MRV Student Prize) award hosted by the Mission Innovation Carbon Dioxide Removal Mission. We were incredibly proud to support and sponsor the competition, leveraging our experience in DAC technology development to inspire the next generation of CDR leaders.   Congratulations to all the winners and to the future innovators who are driving the industry forward!

From policy to progress, Canada is well positioned to support a thriving Direct Air Capture industry. 1PointFive’s Vice President, Commercial and Strategy, Lori Guetre, joined Carbon Removal Canada's Women In Carbon event to provide a solution-forward look at addressing the world’s emissions. 1PointFive is working to deploy Carbon Engineering’s Direct Air Capture technology at scale, leveraging ongoing technology development and innovation from our headquarters in Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh).

The Squamish Helping Hands Society plays a crucial role in providing essential resources and support services to communities in the Sea to Sky region, including Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh). On February 22, the Carbon Engineering team geared up to walk in the Coldest Night of the Year event, raising funds in support of Squamish Helping Hands Society initiatives in the year ahead. It's exciting to see STRATOS taking shape in West Texas using Carbon Engineering's Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology. Congratulations to our colleagues at 1PointFive! 

A decade spent investing in our Squamish-based facilities. #10yearsofCEinSquamish In 2015, CE constructed our original pilot plant in the Oceanfront area where we validated key components of our process and captured carbon dioxide from the air for the first time. In 2021, the Innovation Centre construction was completed, and the facility continues to serve as CE’s home for research and development. Today, the Innovation Centre operates in the growing Oceanfront community, pictured here from the newly opened neighbouring Sp’akw’us Feather Park. We’re grateful for the continued support that allows us to innovate locally, positioning our technology to have a global impact. #CEinSquamish
