Lessons from Senegal: Leadership, Listening & the Power of Contribution My journey to Senegal as part of the Charity Challenge 2025 for Crossroads International | Carrefour International was a profound experience—one that deepened my understanding of leadership, community, and the importance of well-being in times of change. 🌍 Leadership Begins with Listening In every conversation, I was reminded that true leadership is about creating shared understanding. When we pause to listen—not just to respond, but to truly hear—we build bridges of trust and collaboration. 🤝 Honouring Others & the Weight of Change I witnessed the strength of those who dedicate their lives to making a difference. Yet, even the most resilient leaders can become tapped out on change when the challenges seem endless. This experience reinforced that taking care of ourselves is not a luxury—it’s a necessity if we want to sustain impact. 💡 Well-being is a Leadership Responsibility Whether navigating change in organizations or communities, our well-being is foundational. It allows us to keep showing up, to keep contributing, and to keep making a difference. ✨ Incredible People, Unforgettable Connections This trip brought together extraordinary individuals, each with a unique story and a shared commitment to service.
