 On March 20th, Diplomat Consulting, in collaboration with the Edmonton Pride Centre and Tawaw Outreach Collective, hosted a Naloxone and Harm Reduction training seminar to do our part in keeping our community safer.  During the workshop, we learned common harm reduction approaches, destigmatizing language approaches, and how to administer different forms of Naloxone to prevent an opioid overdose.  Thank you to those who attended and helped make this a meaningful step toward a safer, more informed community! A couple of weeks ago, we were at the launch of a pilot project set to revolutionize the cannabis industry, but we are excited that the word is getting out and the story is gaining the traction it deserves. This first-in-Canada initiative allows consumers to scan a QR code to access detailed product information, including lab test results, potency, certificate of analysis, cannabinoids, and terpenes. Thanks to a new deal, Canadian alcohol will flow more freely between provinces – a move that will enhance local businesses and contribute an estimated $200 billion to Canada’s economy. 🍷🍺 Serving on the Committee on Internal Trade (CIT), Minister Anita Indira Anand says this unprecedented action will unite Canada and remove barriers to interprovincial trade. For 2025, the Northwest Territories is the Chair of the CIT, a position held be Honourable #CaitilinCleveland. Ontario Election 2025: Three Peat for the Progressive Conservatives  The results are in: Premier Doug Ford and the Progressive Conservatives (PCs) have secured a third consecutive majority in Ontario’s 2025 provincial election, winning 80 seats with 43% of the popular vote.
