We're excited to have worked with Taya Cook and Mara Nicolaou of Urban Capital on their (and Spotlight Development Inc.'s) Reina Condos project at 689 the Queensway, designed and developed by an all-women team! (We also worked with HC Matcon Inc. / HCM Contractors Inc., the shoring contractors on this project.) As the shoring consultant engineers, we designed the excavation shoring to be shotcrete with soil nails (and rock pins where required) on three of the four sides of the excavation. On the fourth side was a combination of interlocking caisson and soldier pile and lagging, supported by a mixture of tiebacks and rakers (with walers). The excavation construction and shoring monitoring program has been completed. The building construction is almost complete (if not already completed).

We're thrilled to have worked with Great Gulf (and PRO Caissons Ltd.) on Great Gulf's MV1 Condos in Milton (Ontario)! As the excavation shoring (consulting) engineers, we designed the shoring as soldier piles and lagging all around, supported by tiebacks. The excavation and shoring construction has been completed, including the shoring monitoring program. We hope to continue working with Great Gulf on more of their projects! (And also with PRO Caissons Ltd. on future projects!)

We're excited to welcome back Julienne Mansueto to another co-op term with us at Tarra Engineering and Structural Consultants Inc. ! She'll be with us until the end of August. Julienne is studying Nanotechnology Engineering at University of Waterloo. She contributed a lot last co-op term as Instrumentation Monitoring and IT Intern. She is in a similar role this term, and we are sure she will continue doing good work for us and be a great addition to our team this term!

We're delighted to have worked with Pearl Builders on their project 150 First Gulf Boulevard in Brampton! (We also worked with YORK1, who was the shoring contractor on this project.) As the excavation and shoring consultants, we designed the shoring as interlocking caisson wall all around, supported by tiebacks. Some areas had a bit of open cut excavation behind the piles. The excavation & shoring construction has been completed, and so has the shoring monitoring program.

We'd like to extend a warm welcome to Leslie Liao, who joined our team as an AutoCAD Technician! She holds a Bachelor of Engineering, and has drafting experience with various firms. Her educational background and work experience are great assets. Leslie is a positive contribution to our firm!

We're thrilled to have collaborated with Mondconsult Limited and YORK1 on Canlight Group's Radio Arts project at 206 King Street West in Hamilton, Ontario! Being the excavation shoring consultants, we designed the shoring to be soldier pile and lagging all around, laterally supported by rakers, walers, and corner struts. The excavation construction and shoring monitoring program are both complete.

We're happy to have collaborated with E.M.S.A. Construction Group Ltd. on NVSBLE's Biblio Lofts mixed-use condominium project at 759-763 Queen Street East, Toronto! Our firm was the excavation shoring consultant on the project. The shoring was a watertight continuous interlocking caisson wall all around, with some of the piles designed as permanent structural caissons. Struts and walers were the lateral support of shoring. The shoring excavation construction has been completed, and the shoring monitoring program is also complete.

We're happy to have been the excavation shoring design consultants on The Rose Corporation's 175 Deerfield Road (Phase 3 of the Davis - Residences at Bakersfield) project in Newmarket, ON! The shoring consisted of soldier pile and lagging supported by tiebacks, as well as sloped open cut excavation. The excavation and shoring monitoring has been completed, and the building is almost completed (if not already completed)!

We're happy to have been the shoring engineers on Alterra Developments' 321 Davenport project! The excavation was supported by a continuous interlocking caisson wall all around, supported by corner braces and walers. The shoring and excavation construction has been completed, and the shoring monitoring program is also complete.
