We couldn't agree more! #SEARProgram Thank you Michelle Duquette.
I help schools and universities leverage drone and machine learning technologies to elevate learning potential through educational programs!
**Attention #Manitoba School Divisions** We’re thrilled to announce that several school divisions from across the province have already signed up to participate in the award-winning #Science #Experiential #Aerial #Research (#SEAR) Program by Volatus Aerospace this spring! Thanks to Research Manitoba, most of the costs (up to 93%) for participating Manitoba-based school divisions are covered, making it an incredible opportunity to bring cutting-edge #STEM #education to your #students. This is the final year of funding for the program (ending in June!), and we still have a few spaces available for other divisions to join! We’re excited to once again run the Dutch Elm Disease (DED) Project in #Winnipeg with high school students from the Winnipeg School Division, Louis Riel School Division, and Pembina Trails School Division. Students will learn how #drones equipped with #multispectral #remotesensors can be used to help detect the presence of #dutchelmdisease in #AmericanElm trees. In #ElmCreek, Manitoba, we’ll be hosting the Crop Disease Project in partnership with Ag-Quest, welcoming students from Southwest Horizon School Division, Beautiful Plains School Division, and Portage la Prairie School Division. They’ll gain hands-on experience with #cropresearch #trials and develop #agronomy skills, including soil, root, and leaf chlorophyll analysis. We’re also looking forward to running programs in The Pas and Thompson, Manitoba! If your division would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please reach out to me to discuss next steps. We would love to see even more students benefit from this hands-on STEM learning experience, especially while the funding is in place! Manitoba Association Of School Superintendents
