Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending Agentforce World Tour Toronto, and I wanted to share some insights from the exciting discussions and demos about Salesforce’s latest innovations: 🚀 Agentforce in Action The main keynote focused on how Agentforce works with Data Cloud and Customer 360 to deliver smooth customer experiences. A few of my favorite examples:  ✔Enhanced Conversational Experiences: Agentforce is turning one-way communications into two-way conversations. For example, Fisher & Paykel Appliances uses it to send proactive alerts to customers through WhatsApp when their fridge’s temperature drops unexpectedly. The customer can then book a service appointment directly from the chat. On the technician side, the same Agentforce workflow is used to retrieve order details and manage service requirements. ✔Slack Integration: Imagine asking questions about inventory or forecasting directly in Slack... Agentforce enables teams to pull real-time data without leaving their Slack workspace!  ✔AI-Driven Customization: Several sessions showcased Agentforce's usage of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), which enables AI prompts to use real-time data without requiring extensive model training. 🔨 Practical Applications Agentforce’s flexibility stood out, with demos showcasing:  ✔Automating issue resolution: A demo highlighted how customers can request a price adjustment via SMS for a product purchased a few days ago that’s now on sale.  ✔Re-engaging abandoned browse customers: One use case featured a customer browsing a self-cleaning oven, receiving a follow-up email with an invitation to an in-store showcase. Customers could then ask questions directly via email & schedule a meeting with an agent.  ✔Customizing fulfilment: Retailers can use Agentforce to check store inventory through APIs and quickly answer customer inquiries. 🤖 I Built my Own Agent using Agentforce! One of the highlights of my day was creating a custom agent! Using Agentforce, I designed a conversational bot tailored to a fictional retail use case. The process was interactive and dynamic; everything from answering creative questions to fine-tuning prompts. Watching it in action was really cool and gave me a sneak peek into what Agentforce can do. It was fascinating to see how easily it could be tailored to different use cases and how much potential it has. 🤝 Retail Roundtable Another one of my favorite parts of the day was the Retail Roundtable, where I had the chance to meet fellow Canadian retailers (including leaders at Canada Goose Alex Rinaldi (He/Him), Dennis Liut as well as others from Groupe Dynamite and Loblaw Digital). It was exciting to discuss shared challenges, and learn about innovative ways others are tackling them. Thank you to Wade Wong and Orla Ormsby for leading this! Yesterday, I ran the Toronto Waterfront Half Marathon 🏃‍♂️ Here are some commonalities between running and sales ⬇️ 1. It's a (half) marathon, not a sprint. 2. Discipline is key. 3. Your training program will set you up for success. 4. Sometimes you will not want to wake up early and go for a run or hit the phones on a cold call block. Both are important and necessary for success. 5. Time management is critical. 6. The hardest part is starting your journey. 7. Hard work WILL pay off.

I wonder if anyone in my Sales network can assist? The problem: The sales team at Right Revenue make our sales calls through HubSpot. We consistently have challenges with call quality. (I.e The recipient of the call struggling to understand us, advising it's a 'bad line' etc). Unfortunately HubSpot have not been able to assist. Therefore I am looking for advice insight / recommendations on: 1. How to solve the issue? 2. An alternative product set up to make calls, which is still integrated with hubspot (We are a small team so it must be: very simple, affordable) Any help much appreciated.

CSMs: How to survive the meeting madness 👇 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗦𝗠𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝗺𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹. 🐹 Back-to-back meetings. No time to prep, pause, or pee in between. This is the story for the whole week. Leaving you brain-dead by Friday and screaming 𝘛𝘎𝘐𝘍. And then the realization hits you. You've not yet sent all the post-call summaries or followed up on your task/ action steps. Things slip through the cracks, work remains unfinished, and suddenly, it’s Monday again. You're stuck on the treadmill of inefficiency. Let’s face it: your weekly meeting marathon is killing productivity. 😵 It's silently killing your brain cells. It's taking time away from the productive and creative work that moved the needle for the customer. It's not something that brings you joy. Here's how you get off the meeting hamsterwheel this week itself. 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 📆 • Limit meetings to 40 minutes. They tend to overrun anyway, and this way, you can carve out time for other essential actions. • Don't just send them the how-to guide, explain the value/benefit, and show them live how to do it. And then still send the guide. Repetition makes it stick. • 2 min rule. If you can do it in two mins, tackle those small tasks during the call itself. Protect your to-do list. • Plan each meeting ahead of time, jot down a bullet-point agenda, it help you keep the call structured. • Use tools like tl;dv - AI Meeting Assistant or UpdateAI to record your discussions effortlessly. 𝗪𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗨𝗽 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗣𝗿𝗼. ⏱ • Dedicate the next 5-10 minutes to polishing your notes and sending them off to your customer. • Book your next session while on the call. • Log everything into your CRM or CSP. • Take a sip of water, and breathe. 🙅‍♂️ Enough is enough. This is how you reclaim your time. Implement these changes this week and watch your productivity—and sanity—improve. You'll finish your calls with everything wrapped up neatly, allowing you to move confidently onto the next with clarity and focus. Isn’t it time you stepped off the treadmill and took control? I'd love to find some people are who smarter than me and hungry af to join an SDR team that prioritizes learning and development in: --> prospecting: value based prospecting pitching multiple products to multiple personas over the phone, Linkedin, and email --> real discovery: SDRs run 20-30 min discovery calls to ID pain, the impact of that pain, and pitch to that pain to excite prospects to book a demo... they then get to sit on that demo for exposure into the sales cycle --> business acumen: learning the ins and outs of a start up and B2B SaaS sales, in short, I want you to be a better seller when you leave SDR'ing at Klue Link in bio if you want to apply. It might shock some people, coming from a salesperson, but I think it's absolutely ok that people don't show up for demos. Or they ghost you after interacting with you for several weeks. Or get annoyed when you cold call them, even if they're a VP of sales. Am I happy when people do those things to me, not really, but it doesn't bother me because it's part of my job. No one's forcing me to work in sales and I choosing this path because it has a lot of perks. Like all things, you take the good with the bad. But most importantly, everyone's a human being. They have feelings and you never know what someone is going through at that specific moment. So I think it's very possible for a VP of sales to be annoyed by question that I asked during my call with him. Maybe he's having a bad day and he's finding everything to be extra annoying. Who knows? But I think it's important for salespeople to give people grace and room for their prospects and customers to be human beings first. And always remember, you chose your profession and if you're tired of being ghosted or people saying no to you, you can always look for another job. Why let things you don't control bother you? Do you and find peace in that. #sales
