FEI Campus 🎓 safeguarding training with #WeRideTogether The FEI, in partnership with #WeRideTogether, has developed an online Safeguarding training course accessible to everyone involved in equestrian sport. The course - which is free of charge and accessible to all - provides awareness on safeguarding participants against harassment and abuse, and in particular is aimed at athletes, coaches, grooms, parents, officials, administrators and volunteers from recreational to elite level sport. 👉 Go to FEI Campus - our complimentary, cutting-edge e-learning platform - to view our new Safeguarding training course: https://lnkd.in/e9BDEwr9 ℹ️ Approximately 90 minutes to complete, includes video clips, graphics and quizzes - you can pause, save and come back later at any time - and there are additional sections for athletes, parents, coaches and grooms, which whilst specific to these communities, can and should be completed by all. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion upon finishing the course. The course is currently available in English - translation into other languages is planned over the coming year. The FEI Policy on Safeguarding Participants against Harassment and Abuse was introduced in 2019 and in recent years a number of awareness raising initiatives for National Federations have been implemented - this Safeguarding course builds on these initiatives. FEI HorseApp - vaccination module milestone! It's been just 50 days since the official launch on 3 February 2025 of the FEI HorseApp vaccination module - we now have over 27,600 recorded vaccinations.    "We'd like to thank our global equestrian community - our athletes, trainers, owners, grooms and veterinarians - for helping us to uphold high biosecurity standards while making vaccination tracking easy, accurate and efficient” - Gaspard Dufour, FEI Director Technology and Sport Services   👉 Mandatory process, with benefits   "Keeping the FEI HorseApp up-to-date helps us to quickly confirm your horse meets vaccination requirements for competing at FEI Events while accelerating the Examination on Arrival process - it also sends reminders when next vaccinations are due, helping to maintain horse health and compliance with event regulations."   With a progressive roll-out, allowing for historical vaccinations to be entered, it will start to be compulsory for equine influenza vaccinations to be recorded on the FEI HorseApp in addition to the Horse’s Passport, as per the updated FEI Veterinary Regulations - read more: https://lnkd.in/eg8DZURP   🔴 Need to know how? #BreakingNews FEI President congratulates IOC President-elect and celebrates re-election to IOC membership “First of all, I would like to express my sincerest congratulations to IOC President-elect Kirsty Coventry. For the first time in the long history of the IOC, the members took the momentous decision to elect a woman and an African to the presidency. Being elected in the first round gives Kirsty Coventry a strong mandate and I look forward to working with her in the years to come." FEI President Ingmar De Vos has also been re-elected for a second term as a member of the International Olympic Committee – IOC, after first being elected to the IOC in 2017 for an eight-year term.    The IOC Session also voted to change the status of Ingmar De Vos’ membership from being related to his function as FEI President to membership related to his function as President of ASOIF - Association of Summer Olympic International Federations. De Vos was unanimously elected as ASOIF President for a term of four years starting on 1 January 2025. “My re-election to the IOC is a great honour. The Olympic Movement is stronger than ever but we are facing existential challenges such as climate change and sustainability. Being involved in finding long-term solutions and safeguarding the Olympic legacy for future generations is a serious responsibility, which I welcome.
