But sometimes, our projects lead to something even bigger - stories that touch lives. In 2020, Hug Deutschland was approached to retrofit an old icebreaker with a state-of-the-art exhaust gas purification system. For our colleague Ebeling Thomas, this project became more than just engineering - it became a story. Inspired by the ship’s history, he began writing a children’s book about a 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬. 📖✨ But Thomas didn’t stop there. What started as a story turned into a beautiful act of kindness, making a difference where it matters most.
