Katharina is a participant in our AcceleratiON trainee programme and currently completing her final rotation in Beijing, working in Quality Management for Parts and Digital Purchasing. 👩💻 Her responsibilities include evaluating potential suppliers by visiting them on site to assess whether they meet BMW’s high quality standards for components such as cameras, sensors and control units. Through close collaboration with Purchasing, Production and Development, she ensures that quality requirements are considered throughout the entire product lifecycle. 🦾 Katharina is now in the 18th month of the programme – and particularly values the strong international trainee community, as well as the unique cultural and professional insights her assignment in China provides. 🚀 🗣️“During my time Beijing, I’m not only discovering new cultures, but also innovative ways to enhance quality through AI.” Sounds interesting?
