Today marks the first anniversary of the grand opening of the new Continental Retread Solutions Development Center (CRSDC) in Fort Mill, SC! 🎉 In just a year, we’ve made significant strides in strengthening our partnerships with Continental Retread Solutions Partners, improving the #ContiLifeCycle retread process, and delivering more efficient tire solutions for fleets. John Cox, Head of Retread Truck Tire the Americas, shared: "Over the past year, we have established a solid foundation at CRSDC, which has proven to be a key asset for our R&D team. This center allows us to create controlled builds and produce high-quality test tires for both internal and external testing. We have built hundreds of tires over the past year, and are already seeing the results and impact on our delivery times and performance in the market." #Retreading #PassionToWin

Water is the source of all life. 🌏 Every year on March 22, the UN World #Water Day reminds us of the importance of protecting this precious resource. At Continental we have made it our mission to use the water required for tire production with the greatest possible caution. Our approach: Reduce. Reuse. Recycle. Since 2020, we have reduced our water withdrawal per ton of product by more than 10% - a total of 197 million liters of water, conserved through innovative technologies! That is enough to fill 79 Olympic-sized swimming pools. Thanks to cutting-edge membrane and reverse osmosis technology, we already reuse 90% of the treated water. And we’re not there yet: We seek to constantly further reduce our water withdrawal. This applies particularly to regions with increased water risk. With a reduction of more than 10 percent in the last four years, we have come a big step closer to our ambition. 💪 You can found more information in our press release: https://ow.ly/cI2050Vlimi #Continental #WorldWaterDay #ReduceReuseRecycle #WaterSavings #Sustainability

Have you ever tried to separate mixed Play-Dough colors? 🎨 That’s what recycling tires feel like! Unlike plastics or glass, tires are made of complex materials that must meet strict safety standards. Separating these components requires advanced processes and continuous innovation. Some can be physically separated, like steel and the tread, while others require chemical processes before they can be reused. We believe that a circular economy is the model of the future. Recycled raw materials will play a crucial role in making tires even more sustainable. That’s why we are actively researching and developing innovative recycling methods to turn end-of-life tires into new ones. ♻️🛞 Learn more about our sustainability journey: https://ow.ly/TkEb50Vj1ml #GlobalRecyclingDay #CircularEconomy

What do a golf ball and our EcoContact 7 have in common? ⛳️🚗 A golf ball flies farther and more precisely thanks to its dimple structure, which reduces air resistance while increasing stability. We've applied this exact principle to the sidewall of our EcoContact 7 to optimize aerodynamics and energy efficiency. Much like the 300 to 450 dimples on a golf ball that reduce drag and enhance flight precision, the Aero Dimples in our tire sidewall help minimize air turbulence. Thanks to this innovation and other advanced technologies, the EcoContact 7 lowers energy consumption and extends the range of electric vehicles.
