The perfect location for us! (Thanks for the tour @Mark!) 🧪Later Dr. Sabine Oldemeyer (Thanks a lot!) gave us an exciting insight into the TUM Venture Labs. There, teams are given the opportunity and infrastructure to turn ideas into marketable products and real innovation! 🍻🥨 We used the rest of the time to explore downtown Munich and enjoy the Bavarian food and drink culture.

Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Venture Client Roundtable at SEAT CODE in Barcelona, where I had the chance to engage with top-notch companies from Europe and connect with inspiring people. Key takeaways from the event included: 1. The definition of startups varies significantly between companies. While corporate collaborations with pre-seed startups do occur, the primary focus is on more established startups (>Series A). 2. Recurring pain points in companies clearly show us where willingness to pay exists (and maybe where we should invest). 3. Corporate Venturing units are highly interested in AI-powered solutions to find, evaluate and get in contact with startups. Besides that, understanding current trends and market dynamics will be essential. Furthermore, we also discussed the AI-tool we are currently developing at D11Z.Ventures GmbH & Co. KG to track and evaluate emerging startup signals across Europe 🤖 The event was outstanding, featuring thought-provoking discussions, delicious food, and impeccable organization by Pexus Ventures .... and of course, Barcelona is always worth a visit 🇪🇸
