Founded in 1901 in the Black Forest, the company gives water form and function with its faucets, showerheads and shower systems. The 124-year history of the company is marked by innovations, such as the first hand-held shower with multiple spray types, the first pull-out kitchen faucet, and the first wall bar to hold a hand-held shower.   • As Hansgrohe Group, we are committed to the responsible use of water as an increasingly scarce resource. The Water efficiency first principle has become a pillar to the company’s green transformation. Setting the right political and regulatory course, this principle can become a driver of a water resilient building stock. In Europe, private households and services account for 13% of water consumption and 28% of water withdrawal. Between 2000 and 2022, water abstraction for these sectors has risen by 10%. The upcoming EU Water Resilience Strategy provides a unique opportunity to halt the over-exploitation of surface and groundwater and reverse the trend of a rising public water demand. It should: 📌 Review existing regulations to align them with the overall political goal of water resilience 📌 Recognize an EU water label to promote consumer transparency on water use of taps, showers, urinals and toilets 📌 Review regulatory barriers that hamper water recycling and reuse in residential buildings through innovative, efficient and safe solutions 📌 Promote progressive water pricing that ensures access to water as a human right and rewards investments in efficiency technologies at the same time 📌 Strengthen scientific research on water scarcity and safe use of water for different purposes, supported by EU funding mechanisms Last Saturday was World Water Day. It was a good reminder that there is still a long way to go. But also that it is worth the walk. #InTouchWithOurPlanet

    Hop on! Next Stop: ISH Frankfurt! 🚂 Today, several hundred employees traveled on our special train from the Black Forest to #ISH25 in Frankfurt. It's the final day of ISH, and we are excited! We revived our beloved tradition: for the grand finale of ISH, our Hansgrohe employees were invited to the world's leading trade fair for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and water. We celebrated in a joyful atmosphere. The train ride to ISH rewarded our employees for their efforts over the past months. At the trade fair, we had a photo booth for our employees to capture precious moments. We took plenty of photos to highlight our greatest treasure: our employees. 📸 From our perspective, there couldn't be a better way to end this week! 🎉 #WeAreHansgrohe

    ♻ Today is Global Recycling Day! With new solutions for water, packaging and plastics, the Hansgrohe Group is taking a further step towards a sustainable circular economy. 💧 Gray Water Recycling with Hydraloop In collaboration with the Dutch WaterTech company Hydraloop - Use Water Twice, we are currently presenting a modern graywater recycling system at ISH Frankfurt. 🚿 Heat Recovery During Showering We are also developing innovative and user-friendly solutions for heat recovery in showers. This involves systems that are easy to retrofit, as well as technology for the renovation and new construction of showers and bathrooms. 🔄 Showers in a Closed Loop Another product concept being researched by our Hansgrohe InnoLab team aims to exploit the potential of circular water use: in the circular shower concept, the used shower water is cleaned, reheated and reused in the cycle. 📦 Switching to Paper Packaging Goodbye plastic: We are switching all new product packaging worldwide to paper alternatives by the end of 2025. The cardboard packaging used is fully recyclable and reduces plastic waste. ♻ Recycling of Galvanized Plastics At the Offenburg/Elgersweier production site, we have been operating a globally unique recycling machine for chrome-plated plastic components since mid-2024. This way, we are strengthening our green transformation and closing material cycles for a more sustainable future.🌱 #InTouchWithOurPlanet #ISH25

    Solid financial statement for the fiscal year 2024: "In the fiscal year 2024, we experienced stabilization in sales," explains our CEO Hans Juergen Kalmbach, at today's annual financial press conference in the context of the ISH in Frankfurt. The key figures: ➡ Sales were slightly above our expectations, but we are still talking about a slight decline. We achieved sales of 1.387 billion euros in 2024. This corresponds to a decrease of 1.3 percent compared to the previous year (1.406 billion euros). ➡ EBITDA remained almost unchanged at 256.6 million euros (2023: 256.8 million euros). 2024 was a multifaceted and challenging year. The economic environment remained difficult considering geopolitical tensions, regional uncertainties, the ongoing war in Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and increasing protectionism in some markets. However, we have faced these challenges and learned from them. With our 'Hansgrohe Next-Level Strategy' and especially thanks to the team spirit of all our employees worldwide, we will achieve sustainable growth again in the coming years. For this constructive and cooperative collaboration, CEO Hans Juergen Kalmbach expressed his sincere thanks to the international Hansgrohe team on behalf of his board members.     ISH 2025 is waiting! With an exhibition area on the topic of “Sustainable Living”, the Hansgrohe Group is following on from the “Green Vision Beyond Water: Rethinking Bathroom Culture” concept first presented at ISH 2023, a bathroom with a 90% reduction in water and energy consumption and 90% fewer CO2 emissions. Technologies and solutions for the various areas of water use in the home will be on show. See you next week in Frankfurt!

    From vision to reality...   Two years ago, our Green Vision caused quite a stir at ISH – a pioneering concept for the bathroom of the future: resource-saving, efficient, and comfortable.   At ISH 2025, we will demonstrate how this vision can become reality. In my last post, I introduced to you our modern graywater recycling system in collaboration with the Dutch WaterTech company Hydraloop.    Additionally, we will present other solutions as well:   💧 One product concept being researched by our Hansgrohe Group InnoLab team aims to exploit the potential of circular water use:   In the circular shower concept, the used shower water is cleaned, reheated and reused in the cycle. Even if the regulations in many countries do not currently provide for treated water for showers, the requirements could change in future in view of the shortage of fresh water. A technically mature and safe technology could then be a welcome solution in the respective market.    Anyone who wants to see how environmental responsibility and technological leadership can be combined will find a clear answer at our booth.
