On this Global Recycling Day, we are excited to celebrate a significant achievement in our KION Recycling Program: Together with our partner Li-Cycle, we have recycled our one-thousandth lithium-ion battery at their facility in Magdeburg, Germany. 🎉 This milestone underscores how this collaboration drives innovation and responsible resource management within the material handling industry. 🔋 Thanks to the strategic partnership with Li-Cycle, the critical conflict minerals of lithium-ion batteries used at the end of their life cycle are reused in the production of new batteries through almost complete recovery of the minerals. Supplemented by our own battery production in Karlstein am Main, we're working on fully closing the cycle from battery production to mineral recovery in a way that conserves resources. ♻️ #wekeeptheworldmoving

The NVIDIA GTC AI Conference 2025 kicks off today, and we’re excited to showcase the "AI Control Tower"! As part of our collaboration with NVIDIA and Accenture, our subsidiary Dematic is demonstrating this digital twin of the Dematic Solution Center built with NVIDIA Omniverse technologies. 🤝 The Digital Twin replicates the physical equipment within Dematic’s Solution Center, and will be deployed alongside Dematic’s Control Tower components, providing deep-insight analytics of complex inter-process dynamics.🌐 These technologies allow real-time controlling logic for material and order flow scenarios to be explored within a virtualized environment, giving customers the ability to run an infinite number of scenarios of their supply chain, constantly optimizing their operations.📈 We’re excited to build on the momentum from LogiMAT-Messe and showcase how our collaboration with NVIDIA and Accenture is shaping the future of intralogistics. Today, on Plant-A-Flower Day, we’re celebrating the incredible efforts of our environmental volunteers in China! 🌸 As part of the 44th anniversary of China’s National Voluntary Tree Planting Campaign, the teams at our four plants in Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Jingjiang, and Jinan volunteered for a special initiative: "Building the Green Future Together." 🌱🌍 91 volunteers came together to plant 33 fruit trees. 🌳 Not only that – they also cleaned and maintained existing greenery, ensuring a thriving ecosystem for the future! 🌾 Thanks to all our volunteers for their dedication to sustainability and environmental protection! 💚 #wekeeptheworldmoving
