With 109,509 employees, the Lufthansa Group generated revenue of EUR 32.770m in the financial year 2022. Female Power from the Ground to the Sky! ✨ For the LH816/817 FRA-GOT-FRA flight on International Women's Day, everything was in the hands of skilled women from take-off to landing. First, a team of women took care of everything from ramp operations, catering to pushback, ensuring the plane was fully prepared for takeoff. They then handed over to an all-female crew in the cockpit and cabin, who brought the plane safely to Gothenburg (GOT). And here, too, a team of women was already waiting for the plane to land, being in charge of the turnaround, making sure everything runs smoothly before the next departure! 👏 A huge THANK YOU to these amazing women for their dedication, expertise, and teamwork. 🌍 Meet Vincent, one of the Green Mobility Trainees in the Lufthansa Group! ✈️ I'm Vincent Justus Schmidt and as part of my Green Mobility Trainee program, I joined Lufthansa Cargo for one of my 6-month projects to make air freight more sustainable. During this project, I had the opportunity to travel to our markets in South Africa and Kenya, where I collaborated with local teams and customers on sustainability solutions. Beyond exchanging knowledge, I gained insights into global sustainability practices and the cultural dynamics that drive our business.
