And let’s not forget 2 more grid shells we’re working on simultaneously – a complex task requiring absolute precision and coordination. Die Stahlelemente für das letzte der 27 Lichtaugen sind auf der Stuttgart-21-Baustelle eingetroffen. Die Lichtaugen bringen Tageslicht in die unterirdische Bahnsteighalle und prägen die Architektur des künftigen Hauptbahnhofs der Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. Das letzte Lichtauge ist eines von vier flachen Lichtaugen. Es hat einen Durchmesser von rund 18 Metern und besteht aus 46 Tonnen Stahl. Die Bauteile werden vom Fassadenspezialisten seele angeliefert, auf der Baustelle millimetergenau eingehoben, verschweißt und anschließend mit etwa 190 Quadratmetern Glas versehen. Während die letzten Stahlelemente des Lichtauges eingehoben werden, bringen die ersten bereits Tageslicht in die unterirdische Bahnsteighalle. Nach der Fertigstellung aller Lichtaugen folgen die sogenannten Gitterschalen, die künftig die Zugänge zur Bahnsteighalle bilden. #DeutscheBahn #Stuttgart21 #S21 Deutsche Bahn
