In our recent podcast, we had the pleasure of chatting with Benjamin Scheerer, a key player at Red Hat, a high-tech company renowned for its innovative use of #opensource software. We talked about everything from the impact of AI to essential human skills in the tech industry. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 When people outside the tech industry hear "Red Hat," they might think of the Red Hat Society. (We've ALL seen 'em!) Red Hat, the company, is a pioneer in leveraging open-source software for commercial use. 𝐁𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 Ben's career spans several years in the high-tech industry, focusing on product marketing and competitive differentiation. At Red Hat, he’s been instrumental in making products available for cloud consumption. Before Red Hat, he worked at VMware, another heavyweight in the tech space. His experience gives him a unique perspective on both the technical and marketing sides of the industry. 𝐀𝐈 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 Oh, the possibilities! One of the intriguing parts of our conversation was about the role of AI in today's business environment. Ben noted, "AI is everywhere, and it's here to stay.
