We are on a journey to redefine play and reimagine learning. Because play is how children learn naturally.
Om os
Children are inherently curious. They explore the world through play and develop the skills to navigate it. They learn to solve problems, come up with ideas, test concepts and interact with others. Play is how children learn best – at home, in the classroom and in communities. We work together with caregivers, educators, policymakers, researchers, NGO's & other organisations to create opportunities for children to learn through play.

Right now, over 100 million girls around the world are missing out on an education. Those most affected by inequality and discrimination—especially those living through conflict and crises-face the greatest risk. Together with Save the Children International and the LEGO Group, we promote girls’ learning, creativity, and development. A girl who plays and learns today will grow into tomorrow’s innovator, leader, and changemaker. Let’s come together to empower girls and ensure they have the opportunities they deserve. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2025

We’re proud to support the Plug in Play programme by Right To Play, where creativity and STEM skills come to life! Grade 5 student Lea and her classmates designed a smart refrigerator that combines coding and engineering to keep food fresh and safe. The refrigerator automatically opens when it detects someone approaching, providing an innovative solution for homes, schools, hospitals, and hotels. Lea’s work is a perfect example of how hands-on learning can create real-world impact. Together, we’re inspiring the next generation of problem-solvers.

If Kellan, 8 years old, were the Minister of Play... He would make sure that every child gets the chance to play multiple times a day, because play is not just fun – it’s essential for growth! Kellan’s rule: “Every kid has to play at least 3 times a day, and each time should be a different game!” From physical play to creative games, every moment of play helps children develop important skills, from problem-solving to teamwork. Let’s support children in having the freedom to explore, imagine, and connect through play, every single day.

More and more children are feeling excluded from their school communities. In Denmark, our long-term partner, Playful Learning DK, is launching a new initiative, "Playful Belonging," which uses play to foster a sense of belonging for all students, including those with and without special needs. By focusing on each child’s strengths, this project aims to create more diverse and welcoming school environments where every student feels seen, heard, and valued. This initiative redefines how we approach education. It’s not about changing the children - it’s about creating spaces where they can thrive and reach their full potential. Six Danish schools are participating, showcasing how play can reshape school culture for children who might be challenged to thrive in schools today. To benefit them and help all children succeed, play, and learn in school.

We are joining forces with Udenrigsministeriet, UNICEF, and Grundfos Foundation | PDJF to make a meaningful impact in Ethiopia. Together, we are supporting the education and wellbeing of refugee and internally displaced children in the Benishangul-Gumuz region. Our mission is to help children thrive. By advocating for learning through play and providing mental health and psychosocial support in schools and communities, we aim to foster emotional wellbeing and expand access to quality learning opportunities for these children. This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to creating brighter futures for children in need, and we are confident that by uniting our efforts, we can make a lasting difference.
