Vermilion Racing er Danmarks Tekniske Universitets Formula Student hold. Vi bygger og racer elektriske biler ved FS UK.
Om os
Vermilion Racing is a Formula Student Electric team founded in 2017 and now consists of 35 volunteering students (mechanical, electrical and PDI) who will participate in the Formula Student Competition in Silverstone, UK. Formula Student is the world's largest engineering student competition competing against other teams from universities around the world in design, construction and racing. Our main goal is to have a fully functional electric race car which will be able to pass inspection and complete the different main events. The team is currently building the third version of the electrical Formula Student car. This year the focus has been on finalizing our battery and at the same time, the entire mechanical system has been newly designed and manufactured. https://vermilionracing.com/ http://eventure.elektro.dtu.dk

⭐️Announcement ⭐️ We are excited to share some new changes within our team! For the past three years, Alexander has been our Team Principal, making sure we reached major milestones, such as getting a running car. Now that we’ve achieved this, it's time for the next chapter. Alexander Bøhl Ewertsen will be stepping into a new role as Technical Director, where his goal is to develop and build foundation for the future of this role. Stepping into the Team Principal role is Mathilde Lei, who has been a part of our team for more than two years. She started in the operations department as a member and where she later became the leader. We’re excited for this new chapter and can’t wait to see what’s ahead under Mathilde’s leadership!

⭐️Vermilion Racing 2024⭐️ As we come to the end of another year, we want to take a moment to share some of the amazing milestones the team has reached throughout the year. For the first year ever, we won the Business Plan Presentation at Formula Student UK. Even with no prior background in business, Mathilde Lei and Philip Gershøj surprised the judges with their attention to detail and innovative ideas. This really shows our team’s potential to compete at the highest levels in Formula Student competitions. On the technical side, we redesigned significant parts of the mechanical system and built a new chassis, reducing weight and improving performance. In addition, we made a major breakthrough in our battery system, where both the battery pack and the low-voltage system is now fully operational. These developments were essential parts of getting the car to run. Internally, we have focused on strengthening the organisation of the team. By improving communication, clarifying structure and creating collaboration across departments, we have made a strong foundation for a growing team. All of these developments led us to the ultimate goal, a running car. As a team we are very proud of everything we have accomplished and cannot thank our sponsors and partners enough for making this possible. We wish you all a Happy New Year!🎉🪩

⭐️TU/e x DTU racing⭐️ We had the pleasure of hosting TU/ecomotive at our facilities at DTU - Technical University of Denmark. TU/ecomotive is a student team based from a EuroTeQ partner of DTU, Eindhoven University of Technology. They aim to shape the future of sustainable mobility by implementing the most recent innovations into concept cars. We had the opportunity to share challenges and innovative ideas while seeing their newest eco-car, Phoenix. It was a great networking opportunity, highlighting the power of collaboration between EuroTeQ partners. We are excited to follow along in TU/ecomotive’s journey and see how their innovative ideas can help build a more sustainable future.
