🔥Customer go-live🔥 We are pleased to announce that a new customer, Ardoq, went live with Younium last week. Ardoq is a cloud-native SaaS company that provides a data-driven platform for Enterprise Architecture and business transformation. 👉🏻 We first met Ardoq at a SaaS event in 2022, where we discussed their approach to managing B2B customer subscriptions and billing. At that time, they were using a different subscription management solution that wasn't purpose-built for an advanced business model. It lacked support for various pricing structures and robust metrics features. However, after deeper conversations, we recognized a strong alignment between our organizations and a common view of how to manage and scale a B2B SaaS business, and earlier this year, we agreed on how to move forward together. 👉🏻Ardoq primarily chose Younium to establish a flexible and scalable financial backend and implement an efficient quote-to-cash process using Salesforce and Xledger in conjunction with Younium. This week we ended the onboarding for Data Genie - TOMRA Collections new data platform. It has been available for a few months already for our employees in Solution hub. So, it was kind of like talking about a bad kept secret 🤫 With feedback like “Fantastic! This will be a game changer!”, “This is awesome, and this is really powerful!” it seems that we have done something right 👏 Three things that I think we have done that will enable us to become a data-driven organisation going forward. • 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 📊 All our employees now have access to things like number of bottles collected from our machines directly in Power BI. Of course, with data security embedded into the solutions. Everyone is a part of the journey going forward no matter what role you have. • 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝘁𝘀 🔭 We also have data analysts building their own solutions in Power BI and doing ad-hoc analysis in SQL directly in Snowflake. Enabling local teams to use data on their problems on a day-to-day basis is important. Not everything needs to go through a central data team. • 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 ❄️ With more that 47 billion bottles collected in 2024 and with a plan to grow extensively in the next years it is crucial to be on a cloud platform with partners such as Snowflake, DBT, Fivetran and Microsoft. This enables us to create better solutions fast and secures that we can scale to massive data volumes going forward. As always with initiatives like this there is a journey behind this. This are some of the things we have did along the way. • 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 🌄 It was clear that we wanted to move to a new cloud platform when I joined TOMRA. I set myself a goal of 12-18 months to get here. Looking at the calendar I now joined 36 months ago. Suffering from a major cyber-attack last year did not help on progress. It was also a lot more hurdles than expected. But having a clear vision and focus and taking the small wins along the way has really helped keep motivation up. • 𝗕𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 🎢 There have been moments in this journey where people around my team have thought that we were a bit crazy. There have also been naysayers that don’t believe in our vision. So being brave and daring to do things differently than before have really been important. • 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘄𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 💪 In the past years we have doubled our employees within our data team. I think the mix of people with a long tenures in TOMRA and adding more employees with experiences from other companies have really helped us get to where we are. Together I think have really challenged the status quo and changed the mindset. I am very lucky to have an awesome team :) The rest of 2024 will be spent on adjusting on what we have already built and collect more feedback. In 2025 the journey will continue where the major challenge is to build a data driven culture 🚀

It cannot be stated enough - this new Swedish framework for indoor mobile networks is a game-changer in order to secure that we end-users get real 5G where it is needed the most - Indoor. 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 is that a single shared network is needed which all operators can connect to on equal terms, overlapping networks is an ESG disaster and an economical impossibility. 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 is that the shared network needs to be a modern active network in order to actually deliver high performance in both high speeds (Mbps) as well as massive capacity (Mbps per sqm) but also to enable all future possibilities like accurate indoor positioning as well as other cool 5G tech. The property owners behind this model represent a huge part of commercial properties in Sweden and they are willing to invest in 5G, side-by-side with mobile operators, to secure that our society can benefit from future of connectivity everywhere indoor, a must for us to have a chance to reach net-zero goals for sure.
