GEN provides solutions to strive towards each of the goals (SDG’s) agreed to at the Paris Climate Agreement. GEN advocates for ecovillages with UN Consultative status.

- 90% are involved in carbon sequestration through soil and biomass management.
- Ecovillages contribute significantly to restoring water sources and cycles, with 97% engaged in efforts to replenish these natural systems.
- By adopting practices such as regenerative agriculture, reforestation, and sustainable water management, ecovillages address both carbon drawdown and biodiversity restoration.
