Game Studies Thesis Competition 2025 The search for the best Finnish theses on the topic of games and play is on again! The twelfth annual game studies thesis competition aims to promote the highest quality education and research in Finland in the field of games and play. The competition is organised by The Finnish Society for Game Research in collaboration with Neogames Finland ry – Hub of the Finnish Game Industry. The thesis must be submitted by 31.3.2025. The work should primarily be submitted by its author. Check the requirements and instructions from the link.

Going to IGDA in Helsinki? Come and join us for another pre-IGDA at Muji on Tuesday! What to expect: Fewer people in a calm atmosphere, seated at tables in the back of Muji. Most times we are roughly 10 people. How to join: no need to sign up and you can also join when you are not a We in Games Finland member! Show up any time between 16:30 and 18:00 What about IGDA? It's in the same building and we can go there together. Few people will probably already leave for the program, which starts at 17:30. But there will still be someone until 18:00. Also, you don't need to join us for IGDA. Accessibility: Muji is wheelchair accessible and we try to accommodate everyone. Please reach out for any other support!
