My paper titled “Symmetric Formulation for Non-conforming Meshes in Magnetostatic Problems” has been published in IEEE Transactions on Magnetics: https://lnkd.in/eF_Qgq2t This paper introduces a method to solve 2-D magnetostatic problems for non-conforming meshes using FreeFEM, emphasizing the importance of the symmetric formulation for accuracy. This work was inspired by developments in contact mechanics, where the symmetric formulation was employed to handle unilateral constraints. This work is now integrated into Tanatloc (https://tanatloc.com), the free and open-source graphical interface of FreeFEM developed by Airthium. #Tanatloc #FreeFEM #Magnetostatic
