YIKES….40 of Airbus and Safran’s Tier 1 are at risk of insolvency. Sitting on the golden heap of Airbus's historic order book, the players in the aerospace industry are not really managing to make the most of it. According to a recent confidential study by the Banque de France, some 40 of the sector's 200 major subcontractors are at risk of insolvency (with insufficient cash flow and high levels of debt). These conclusions - based on financial statements for 2023 - were partly shared by the French aerospace industry association GIFAS. In 2022, the Banque de France counted "only" 26 in this situation. In addition, 30% of these major suppliers were making losses in 2023. Nearly 20% of the main subcontractors to aircraft manufacturer Airbus and engine manufacturer Safran are in this situation.

Air Europa Airlines has signed a 10-year MRO agreement with Collins Aerospace Services to support its 787 fleet. Luxaviation Group to offer SAF at Paris Le Bourget FBO Luxaviation Group announced that it will begin to provide sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) options at its Paris Le Bourget fixed base operator (FBO) facility. The FBO will supply a maximum blend of up to 35% SAF with Jet A1 fuel, certified to meet the highest standards. The SAF provided is derived from used cooking oil, a renewable feedstock which is refined through the Hydrotreated Esters and Fatty Acids (HEFA) process. “As the industry aligns with global environmental goals and the Business Aviation Commitment on Climate Change, sustainability stands as a cornerstone of Luxaviation Group, paving the way for a more sustainable future in aviation. The Ascent Aerospace France team has played a key role in the reconfiguration of assembly line stations in Toulouse to support Airbus’ production of the A350-1000F freighter. The project included modifying platforms at critical stations, such as Station 50 for fuselage section mating and Station 40 for integrating the freighter's cargo-loading systems. Airbus Aircraft has delivered twice the number of A350s than A330s in 2023. HUB Airlines has sent a Welcome Letter to CEO Guillaume Faury at the time on October 2020 signaling our studied decision to operate this model with 30 aircraft to be based at #Viracopos in Brazil starting with used ones. Our core remains while the Brazilian international passengers market has only reached 89% last December in comparison to 2019, with some significative signs of growth in passengers and cargo operations, although very high ticket precifications and high costs worldwide remains, mainly in services and fuel. We have seen that our choice to operate a single A350 fleet has proved itself with facts and worldwide data as Airbus Aircraft orders on A350 have been growing as a great choice. Airbus CEO Guillaume Faury has reported positive developments in the supply of engines from CFM International, indicating that the company is on track to meet its year-end targets. Despite this progress, Faury cautions that the situation remains tight, with Airbus needing to deliver around 200 jets in the last two months to meet its 2024 goal of approximately 770 aircraft. The company has faced slower jet deliveries due to a shortfall in engine supplies, compounded by challenges such as Hurricane Milton. CFM International, a joint venture between GE Aerospace and Safran, has been balancing new engine production with repair demands, contributing to supply chain issues exacerbated by the pandemic. Airbus aims for a last-minute surge in deliveries to maintain its leading position over Boeing, which is recovering from a production-halting strike.
