We had a great time connecting with founders, operators, and domain experts at SaaSBoomi 2025. The energy was focused and the conversations reflected a noticeable shift: AI is no longer an enhancement—it's becoming the foundation. Across agentic workflows, AIOps, DevOps automation, and AI in content and commerce, we’re seeing product strategies being designed around AI from the ground up—not layered on. Here are three signals we’re observing across early-stage startups: ▶️ Vertical AI is gaining traction – We’re seeing deeper product-market alignment in domains like finance ops, e-commerce automation, legal tech, etc. The focus is shifting from broad models to purpose-built solutions with domain depth. ▶️ Infra is evolving fast – New DevTools and AIOps platforms are emerging to handle the latency, observability, cloud cost, and context windows needed for GenAI-native products. Performance and cost efficiency are in the front and center. ▶️ AI startups are redefining their GTM strategy – Today's AI startups are embracing PLG, blending it with outbound, ecosystem partnerships, and community-led growth to drive smarter distribution. These themes are early but consistent—and reflect how Indian SaaS founders are approaching AI not just as a technology shift, but as a design shift. We left SaaSBoomi 2025 more convinced that India’s SaaS ecosystem is in build mode—with global ambition and sharper execution. If you're a founder building in SaaS or AI, we’d love to hear from you! At Kalaari, we believe the future of AI isn't just about technology—it's about who builds it. Our recent "Women, AI & the Next Leap" event brought together visionary leaders Bhakti Vithalani, Hema Budaraju, Ashu Garg, Monisha Banerjee, Kamakshi Sivaramakrishnan, and Patrick McGovern, challenging the status quo in tech innovation. With women representing less than 20% of AI leadership roles, how can we drive transformative solutions that truly represent humanity's full potential? #WomenInTech #AI #Leadership
