The MAGIC Investors Meet, held on March 28, 2025, at Bajaj Bhavan, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, brought together leading investors and promising startups to explore funding opportunities and foster innovation. Organized by the MAGIC Business Incubator SME Accelerator in collaboration with Faad Capital Network, a SEBI-registered entity, and NATH SCHOOL OF BUSINESS & TECHNOLOGY (NSBT), the event provided a valuable platform for discussions on startup funding and investment trends. The event witnessed the participation of prominent investors from diverse sectors who engaged in insightful conversations about emerging investment opportunities. Three innovative startups incubated at MAGIC had the opportunity to present their business ideas to potential investors. Their presentations not only allowed them to showcase their entrepreneurial vision but also enabled them to receive valuable guidance and explore funding prospects. The event served as a crucial stepping stone in strengthening the investment ecosystem for startups in the region. Speaking on the occasion, Ritesh Mishra, Director of MAGIC, highlighted the significance of fostering a robust investment culture to accelerate the growth of startups in Marathwada. Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS) recently convened a Startup Policy Consultation Meeting, bringing together key stakeholders, including industry leaders, incubators, investors, and policymakers, to help shape a progressive and inclusive Maharashtra Startup Policy. The discussions were led by Additional Chief Secretary Manisha Verma (Department of Skills, Entrepreneurship, Employment & Innovation), who reiterated the government’s commitment to fostering a dynamic and thriving startup ecosystem. The proposed policy aims to empower startups, strengthen incubators, attract investors, and enhance collaboration among ecosystem enablers. With Maharashtra leading the nation in startup registrations and investment inflows, this forward-looking policy will ensure the state retains its position as India’s premier innovation hub.
