While launching the Research Report and facilitating women entrepreneurs, he congratulated women entrepreneurs for showing extraordinary progress in entrepreneurship. He explained about the schemes of SIDBI and specific interventions to foster and support women entrepreneurs. He highlighted the critical need for distinct recognition of nano entrepreneurs to prevent their marginalization within the broader micro-enterprise sector. SIDBI signed a MoU with the North Bengal Industries Association (NBIA) under the PROMO Scheme, with the signing conducted by Shri Surajit Paul, Honorary General Secretary, NBIA. SIDBI participated in the Vejalpur Startup Festival 2.0 inaugurated by Shri Bhupendra Patel, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat along with Shri Harsh Sanghavi, Hon’ble Minister of State for Home Affairs, in New Delhi. The festival showcased numerous startups, providing them with stalls to exhibit their innovations. The Hon’ble Chief Minister highlighted the importance of startups as a defining feature of today's youth, acknowledging their creative thinking and innovative ideas that propel their success. SIDBI also established a stall at the festival to disseminate information about its various assistance schemes to the participants.
