She has facilitated a variety of workshops for Wisdom Tree's partner organizations, focusing on self-reflection, communication, and more, all through the medium of theatre. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked both on stage and in teaching dramatic arts. She ran her own theatre company for over 10 years—performing, traveling, managing, and conducting workshops. She has also worked in television and films.

We were excited to facilitate a 2-day workshop with Goonj, engaging fellows from their three fellowship programs—Goonj Setu Fellows, Grassroot Fellows, and Next Gen Fellows—in deep reflection and learning. The workshop was designed to help fellows reflect on their journey and build a deeper understanding of Goonj's work while engaging with communities on the ground. Through a blend of self-reflection and art-based activities, the fellows explored: ✨ Their aspirations and dreams—why they joined the fellowship and what drives them. ✨ The importance of working on oneself—how inner transformation leads to sustainable external change. ✨ Shifting perspectives on development—moving from charity-driven giving to contribution with dignity. ✨ Understanding urban and rural realities—seeing communities as active stakeholders, not passive beneficiaries. As always, it was an insightful interaction with Anshu bhaiya (Anshu Gupta), the founder of Goonj who shared about its idea of social change and its significance in the current time. We deeply admire Goonj’s community-centered approach, which places communities at the heart of every initiative, and our shared commitment to meaningful social change.
