HMPV cases reported in India and all around social media today, few things to understand this is not a new virus and this virus has no major evidence to show it's more severe than other flu around in this winter season with mild symptoms. There is no new pandemic is coming due to HMPV and no lockdowns. This virus is there for decades and It around us for year, only due to testing for specific virus is getting reported and getting attention now. There is no panic required and no need to believe in false information being spread across social media with China hospitals overwhelming due to HMPV with the videos and images without any authentic sources, its not true, its a usual flu season every year major due to influenzas and other usual virus. Ministry of Health India also clarified this.

DTDC Courier & Cargo Ltd. DTDC Support I am highly disappointed with the handling of my courier (tracking number [7D109665778])  and the unprofessional behavior of your delivery team. Here's the timeline of events and issues I’ve faced: 📅 Friday: Received "Out for delivery" message, but no attempt was made. 📅 Saturday: Message claimed delivery failed due to "high volume," then I was asked to collect it from a shop 800m away. After waiting an hour, I was informed the courier wasn’t there. 📅 Monday: Repeated "Out for delivery" messages. Delivery person assured delivery but later rudely said, "Ab to na ho payega," before disconnecting. Status falsely updated as "AREA NON SERVICABLE." 📅 Tuesday, 10th Dec '24: False tracking status "Attempted, NANGAL" updated at 12:02 PM. By 7:49 PM, marked as RTO (Returned to Origin). This is not the first time such incidents have occurred. Your team regularly: ❌ Sends misleading "Out for delivery" updates. ❌ Forces customers to collect parcels from shops or offices 4 km away. ❌ Labels serviceable areas as "Non-Serviceable" arbitrarily. I think this is an ideal state to be in. No complaints against anyone. This is so peaceful and content state. And initially this may seem difficult. One may say that there will be some or the other problem. I agree. But if we see the problem in a different perspective, we can move from the complaining state to the grateful state. To start with, we can think the problem is giving me the opportunity to work upon to solve the problem. And practicing possibility thinking will help in reaching that mindset to move away from complains. And regular practicing may change this from "Kai dino se shikayat nahi jamaane se" to "Kai saalon se shikyat nahi jamaane se" which translates to " No complain against the world for many years" By the way those who understands Hindi and enjoys listening to songs, this is a good song. Recent experience with the hotel booking website, yatra.com tldr; (1) Beware of bogus listings on yatra.com, (2) avoid them during peak seasons, (3) always call the hotel a day earlier, even if you have paid. Rajesh Bhanot Dhruv Shringi We had a reservation confirmed by yatra.com and despite the assurance email, the hotel denied check-in right away (once we mentioned it was through yatra.com), claiming it was fully booked. In the distress, we reached out to Yatra's customer service. Agents realized hotel doesn't honor yatra.com bookings during peak times and were trying hard to cover up their tracks. They assigned a dedicated agent Mr. Abhishek Kumar, who assured us an alternate option and we didn't hear from them for a while and decided to go ahead with our planned itinerary, hoping they would find us alternate options and call us. What followed was 7-hours of frustration, where we would contact the customer care by ourselves repeating the issue (despite having ticket number #43633238) and the customer agents would churn out the same templated answer that they're looking into this on priority and Mr. Abhishek kumar is tirelessly working on it (while he is not reachable at all on the phone!). Interestingly, we looked up yatra.com ourselves during these conversations and several listings were available, but the response from the agent were quite contradicting, which exposes the fact that the platform lacks consistency and mostly filled with bogus listings. Their disregard for my situation, coupled with their unprofessionalism and lying, left me feeling utterly stranded and disrespected. After hours of waiting and being misled, they eventually refunded the amount. But the damage was already done. I was forced to find and pay a premium for a new hotel room during the late hours, incurring unnecessary expenses and stress. This experience serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering using Yatra's services. Did anyone notice MF orders placed on 21st after cut-off time or on 22nd before cut-off time are allocated with nav on 22nd night(when nav is updated and reflects market loss/profit) instead on nav which was actually before 3PM on 22nd. Since yesterday was a 2.5% gain in index looks like processing of thise orders intentionally postponed. Ppl lost 2.5% of gain straight away and profit fund house was able to sell expensive nav. This is not something happened first time. Better to make use of ETFs on these times instead of relying on MF. Zerodha SEBI

I’ve been working on a matrimonial platform with zero subscription fees, unlike Shaadi.com or Jeevansathi.com. Our focus is on reaching people in remote areas, particularly farmers, blue-collar workers, and others who can’t afford high subscription costs. At marriagemate.in, we charge a nominal fee only when users take actions like booking a call with a potential match. We’re in the early stages of development, focusing on streamlining our onboarding process. We’re planning to roll out the web version and expect most users to engage through mobile web. We are using nextjs with tailwind CSS and nestjs hosted on Vercel and AWS. I’m currently facing an issue where the screen zooms in on iPhones when focusing on input fields. I’d appreciate any help or guidance on how to fix this! there are a couple of other cross-browser issues too. I would greatly appreciate it if you could lend a helping hand in smoothing the onboarding process. Your insights and support would make a huge difference!

Every now and then, we need to get rid of things we don’t use anymore to free up space. In Java, this cleanup process is handled by something called Garbage Collection. Just like the kabadiwala goes around looking for items you don’t need, the Garbage Collector (GC) in Java hunts for objects in memory that aren’t being used by your program anymore. Once it finds them, it clears them out to free up memory, making sure your program runs smoothly without any memory clutter. Now, imagine calling the kabadiwala too frequently; he might start interrupting your routine. Similarly, if the Garbage Collector runs too often, it can slow down your application—a phenomenon called GC overhead. On the flip side, if he comes too late, your home will start overflowing with junk, just like memory issues in Java! 📌 Key Takeaway: Java’s Garbage Collector is like your friendly neighborhood kabadiwala, keeping your memory clean.
