Participated in Leetcode weekly contest 407. All tricky questions this time. Found 2nd question particularly interesting to observe!! Ideas/Approaches: 1. Number of Bit Changes to Make Two Integers Equal - if AND of two numbers isn't equal to target, Then not feasible to get target. - XOR of two numbers provide the bits where operation is needed. Returning the count of them. 2. Vowels Game in a String - Alice always wins except when there isn't any vowel in string. 3. Maximum Number of Operations to Move Ones to the End - Iterate for each bit from left to right, use variable counter to count 1's and use variable prev to store previous bit. - If found bit is 1 - If prev is 0, Add counter to res. - Increase counter - Update prev with current bit 4. Minimum Operations to Make Array Equal to Target - Find the delta array as delta[i] = target[i] - nums[i] - Kadane's algorithm variation works fine on delta array - Iterate over delta and init variable prev=0 to store previous delta - if new delta, delta[i] is of same sign as prev or prev is 0, Add positive value change, abs(delta[i] - prev) to ans. - If new delta, delta[i] is of opposite sign to prev, Add delta[i]'s absolute value to ans. - Update prev = delta[i] Please share your ideas in comments 😊 #algorithms #dsa #leetcode #problemsolving

Logistics: Locating the nearest warehouses or drop-off points. Real Estate: Identifying nearby properties. Travel: Finding nearby attractions, hotels, or restaurants. 🔍 How it works: Simply input your current location and desired radius. The microservice returns all coordinates within that area. Singleton patterns is the easiest pattern in Whole OO in my opinion but's is very powerful why let's say when you want to create a single object that should be used throughout the application @ that time one pattern which  comes into mind is Singleton pattern. Example: 1) we want to create a DB connection which will remain constant throughout the application we can use Singleton pattern to get the object which will be singleton in nature and will hold the connection related configurations. 2) Another classical example would be logging object let's say we have our internal Logging system using which we'll print the logs @ that time also we can use Singleton Pattern to create a single instance of Logging class and that can be used throughout the application.

⛔️ To all 2025/26 Engg Grads, 👉🏻 Don't make the same mistake that I did in my interviews: Building an📱app/website for: - 10 Concurrent Users (What you build) - 1K Concurrent Users - 10K Concurrent Users - 100K Concurrent Users - 1M Concurrent Users - 10M Concurrent Users ...are completely different challenges. The architecture, design patterns, database choices, caching strategies, and even deployment pipelines vary drastically with scale. Unfortunately, in colleges, students rarely learn about SCALABILITY, neither the professors stress on it. Here’s how you can add value to your projects: 📌 Identify Bottlenecks: Does your app handle a burst of requests? Where does it break—database, server, or network? 📌 Plan for Scaling: What happens if you need to onboard 10x users tomorrow? Think about load balancing, sharding, and horizontal scaling. 📌 Simulate Scale:Use tools like JMeter, Locust, or k6 to simulate traffic and test limits. I know it's hard in the middle of so many things. Even if you haven’t considered scalability in your projects, start talking about it in your interviews: 📌 Highlight potential bottlenecks. 📌 Share ideas on how you would scale it in the future. 📌 Discuss trade-offs you made due to time or resource constraints. iOS vs Android really?? You might have read lot of articles on iOS vs Android prices differing on ride booking apps like Uber, Ola or Rapido. But is it truly "just" the operating system at play? Not exactly, There's a lot more happening under the hood, lets get into the hidden tech behind these pricing strategies: - Dynamic Pricing Based on User Behaviour and Historical data These platforms rely on user behaviour patterns to adjust pricing dynamically. Once they identify a "regular" user, the fares can be inflated. Similarly if a user has not booked a ride for a long time or seems to be a new user, they might get "fancy" discounts. - Platform-Specific Pricing Configuration(𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞!!) When the app makes requests to the server (for ride pricing or availability), it sends headers that include the user-agent string eg. "Android/10" or "iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 14_4 like Mac OS X". The service might have different base fares, surge pricing algorithms, or discounts for Android and iOS users. - A/B Testing and User Segmentation Companies may use A/B testing or user segmentation to experiment with different pricing for Android and iOS users. The company did not miss a chance to add a local flavour to the event. Karan MV, director of international developer relations at GitHub, demonstrated that Copilot’s Workspace can understand Indian languages, including Hindi and Kannada, while writing code. The feature was introduced in May last year. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said, “Think about this – every person can now start programming, whether it’s in Hindi, Brazilian, or Portuguese, and bring back the joy of coding in their native language.” GitHub Copilot Workspace is an environment that assists developers with AI through their coding workflow. During the demonstration, Karan wanted to add functionality that allows images to be added to a product website. He asked Copilot in Hindi, “Ek page pe image upload karne ke liye koi idea batiye,” which translates to “Any idea for uploading images on a page?” Copilot Workspace then generated ideas, such as adding a file input element, using drag-and-drop, or creating a third-party library area inside the website. After selecting the preferred idea, Copilot Workspace generated a list of tasks needed to add the feature and then generated the code for it. Karan then went ahead and asked to add a preview of the uploaded image. He asked in Kannada, “Image upload madidamele adara preview thorsi,” which translates to “Show me a preview of the image once it is uploaded”. Copilot Workspace successfully added code that would display a preview of the image on the website.
