A "Made in India" Smart Ring?
As soon as we saw industry reports claiming smart rings were the new "hot" selling wearables, we wondered if there are any designed in India or made in India?
Our search quickly pointed to this Bangalore (aka Bengaluru) based start-up: Sensio Enterprises.
This start-up claims to have designed the hardware and software of their smart rings in India! Plus, the final body of the ring and encapsulation of the electronics within the body also happens in India. Thus, it's perhaps India's only "Made in India" smart ring.
To get more details, our team managed to speak to one of Sensio's co-founders-Dr Venkatesh Vadde, Ph.D., who's a professor turned entrepreneur.
What is the kind of R&D that's gone into these rings?
Have they launched these rings in the market? Are they selling?
What are the challenges they faced?
Did they manage to get any funding?
Who can help them and how?
What's their future road-map?
Those are some of the questions that Dr Vadde shared his insights on, but you will need to click on this URL to discover the same: https://lnkd.in/gxcBAqBU
