    How much should a business spend on marketing? This is one of the most common questions we hear during Slixta calls. We gathered some data, and this is an over-simplified summary: 🎯 Early-Stage (High Growth): 15% – 35% of revenue (Heavy investment in brand awareness and lead generation) 🎯 Next-Stage (Scaling): 10% – 25% of revenue (Optimizing customer acquisition cost and improving marketing efficiency) 🎯 Mature Businesses: 5% – 15% of revenue (Lower spending with a focus on retention and organic growth) These numbers are generally for B2B businesses. B2C companies' marketing budgets are typically 10% to 20% higher than B2B's. (This is an approximation from publicly available data from the published reports of Gartner & Forrester, SaaS benchmarks, and case studies from various companies) (If any of you have better numbers/sources, please add them in the comments)
