Actor Sheeba Akashdeep, whose career spans several decades, recently appeared on the latest episode of SCREEN’s Dear Me. During the conversation, she reflected on her film journey, her experiences in the industry, and working with superstars like Rajinikanth, Salman Khan, and Shah Rukh Khan. She also discussed her recent projects, Jigra and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

Talking about working with Alia in Jigra, Sheeba said, “Jigra was the second time around I worked with Alia Bhatt. In fact, in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, I didn’t have any scene with her. Firstly, I find her such a with-it actor. When she just says her lines and is rehearsing with you, you feel like, damn, she’s ready! She is a well-prepared actor and just lights up the screen, and she looks lovely, so she has gotten it all.”

Sheeba Akashdeep has also worked with Pooja Bhatt. When asked about the similarities and differences between the Bhatt sisters, she shared, “Pooja and I were contemporaries. We were both parallel leads in a film. I don’t remember if the film released. But I think it was her, me, and Salman. Both Pooja and Alia are very chatty. they are both very similar. Both of them are great actors. It’s like they are genetically blessed by the acting angel or something.”

Speaking about the Alia Bhatt-starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Sheeba recalled that she was initially supposed to have a lip-lock scene with Dharmendra. However, a creative decision was later made to tone it down to a peck on the cheek. The actor said, “That peck on the cheek with Dharamji was so cute. Shooting with Dharamji was so good. Esha Deol is a friend, but I had never met Dharamji. I find him one of the best-looking men in the industry; he is the Greek God. He is so humble and sweet. He spent hours chatting with me between the shots, showing me his previous work and Instagram feed. He was so excited that he even called up Esha and told her that he was shooting with me.”
