1. Kapil Sharma

We cannot help but keep the ace comedian Kapil Sharma on top of this list as we still can’t believe what he earns for making the audience laugh with his spot-on comic timings and witty antics. The captain of the ship called The Kapil Sharma Show earns a whopping Rs 60-80 lakh per episode. Apart from being a household name, Kapil has been minting money all this while and now we know where does the infamous Rs 15 crore tax payment come from.

2. Sunil Grover

Next on the list is former Guthi, now Doctor Mashoor Gulati and Rinku bhabhi of The Kapil Sharma Show. His character might be laughed upon by the Indian audience because of Kapil’s hilarious comments on his looks, but who would mind that if you pocket Rs 10-12 lakh per episode? Sunil Grover might not have earned so much from his Bollywood projects that he has earned by playing female characters on Kapil’s show.

3. Divyanka Tripathi

Divyanka Tripathi aka Ishita Bhalla of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein pools in no less than Rs 1 lakh per episode for the highly watched show. What less can you expect when Ekta Kapoor is the producer of the show. Given the fact that the show is a daily which is telecast seven days a week, do the math.

4. Sriti Jha

The lead actor of the popular TV show, Kumkum Bhagya has been garnering applause for her character, Pragya, from the first episode of the show, which was aired back in 2014. She reportedly earns Rs 50,000-60,000 for one episode of the show. Now, we know why don’t she mind acting in the show despite the entire plot being repeated ad infinitum.

5. Karan Patel

We don’t know how much money he made as the anchor of Gumrah but Karan Patel has made it to the list of TV’s top paid actors after playing the role of Raman Bhalla in Ekta Kapoor’s Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. The angry young man of Indian telly world allegedly demands Rs 1 lakh-1.25 lakh for one episode of the show.

6. Shabbir Ahluwalia

Shabbir Ahluwalia is a rockstar in one of the top ranking shows on Indian television. Zee TV’s daily soap, Kumkum Bhagya in which he plays rockstar Abhishek Mehra, has brought him fame and money both. And he apparently earns Rs 75000 per episode.

7. Devoleena Bhattacharjee

The ideal bahu of Saath Nibhana Saathiya, Gopi Bahu played by Devoleena Bhattacharjee gets a jaw-dropping Rs 90000 for shedding tears in almost every episode of the show.

8. Drashti Dhami

Winner of the celebrity dance show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, Dharshti earlier earned Rs 60,000 per episode for her show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. And now it is believed that the actor is getting Rs 75000 to 1 lakh for her recently launched show Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil.
