Founded in Monestier de Clermont, Grenoble, France, in 1952, Moncler is now based in Italy. Over the course of the years the brand has teamed style with ongoing technological research which harnesses the knowledge of mountaineering experts. Moncler collections combine extreme needs with day-to-day city life. In 2003 Remo Ruffini took over the company of which he is now Chairman and CEO. Behind every knitwear piece of our #MonclerGrenoble Fall/Winter 2025 collection, there’s distinctive style, technical innovation — and the skilled hands of our teams. With some pieces requiring up to 18 hours of meticulous work to be brought to life, Moncler Grenoble is where precision meets passion. All the knitwear garments from our recent show in Courchevel were prototyped and produced in our newly opened knitwear hub in Veneto, where know-how is passed down through generations thanks to the Moncler Academy for Technical Excellence, training the crafters of tomorrow.

Moncler is honored to be recognized as one of the most innovative fashion and apparel companies of 2025 by FastCompany. This recognition spotlights the brand's unwavering commitment to creativity and innovation in the industry. "Moncler has transformed the puffer coat into a canvas for creativity. This year, it partnered with Jony Ive, designer of the iPhone, to design a five-piece outerwear collection called Lovefrom. Collaboration was part of Moncler’s broader effort to partner with creatives across industries. In 2018, it launched what it calls the Genius project, where it works with 10 people across disciplines to come up with out-of-the box ideas for products and runway show experiences. For this year’s “genius” collection, which included coats designed by actor Donald Glover, fashion editor Edward Enninful, and designer Rick Owens, Moncler created its most ambitious showcase yet. It presented their creations in Shanghai at a spectacular event called City of Genius, which transformed the runway into a multiday festival attended by 8,000 people. Each of the creatives developed an immersive world that allowed them to feature the products they designed." The iconic Courchevel Altiport runway, nestled in the Trois Vallées, became a catwalk at 2,008 meters above sea level: an expression of the elevated mountain world of #MonclerGrenoble.
