We're excited to share that kids from Nagase Viita staff families became "reporters" and had the unique chance to interview🎤 para-athletes. Their story is featured in the "Yomiuri KODOMO Shimbun." 📰 The "Let's Talk and Experience with Para-Athletes! Kid Reporter Program" organized two great events. The kids tried out three types of para-sports, including wheelchair racing♿, and interviewed wheelchair athletes. They also took part in the "NAGASE Cup" track and field competition and asked thoughtful questions to visually impaired runner Shinya Wada and guide runner Takumi Hasebe. These valuable experiences of our young reporters are detailed across four pages. <Social Implementation of Chemicals AI Cooperative Logistics Matching Service Achieved —First Cooperative Logistics Carried Out Since Provision of Service, Offline Community Also Created> The Chemicals AI Cooperative Logistics Matching Service provided by Nagase achieved in December 2024 the first social implementation of cooperative logistics since the provision of the service. With cooperative logistics, instead of the truck returning to its origin with less cargo after making a delivery, by loading cargo from a different company for the return route the loading efficiency was improved. Building a sustainable logistics network can reduce costs, reduce the labor burden and improve efficiency for drivers with the expertise to transport chemicals safely and legally, and contribute to a reduction in GHG emissions. The Chemicals AI Cooperative Logistics Matching Service has approximately 70 companies registered as users, with Nagase providing and operating the service with domestic Japanese companies handling chemicals as its primary users. https://lnkd.in/gvKZwPtp 「化学品 AI 共同物流マッチングサービス」 社会実装を実現 ～サービス提供以来初となる共同物流の実現 オフラインコミュニティも実施～   長瀬産業が提供する「化学品AI共同物流マッチングサービス」が、サービス提供開始以来初となる共同物流の社会実装を 2024年12月に実現しました。今回は、物流会社と化学品メーカーが同一のトラック（10t・ウィング車）を活用し、富山県・大阪府・石川県を発着点とする輸送ルートで化学品を輸送しました。共同物流により、従来、荷下ろし後にトラックの帰り荷が少ない状態で着地点へと戻るところ、復路のトラックに他社の荷物を積載することで、積載率の向上を実現しました。サステナブルな物流網の構築を通じ、遵法かつ安全な化学品輸送ノウハウを有するドライバーの労働負荷軽減・効率化やコスト削減、GHG 排出量削減が期待されます。「化学品AI共同物流マッチングサービス」は約 70社のユーザー登録があり、長瀬産業が化学品を取り扱う国内企業を主な対象として提供・運用を行っています。今後もユーザーとのコミュニケーションを 通じ、サービスやサポートの充実化に加え、「オフラインコミュニティ」の機会提供により化学業界における物流課題解決のソリューション提案に取り組んでまいります。 https://lnkd.in/gCJbSDSq
