When lack of sleep can lead to a crisis. #worldsleepday #crisis #sleep #Health
Yesterday was World Sleep Day 2025 this year's theme is: Make Sleep Health a Priority. By right if the day was a success then you should be waking up refreshed. I'm not an expert on the subject, more of a connoisseur of good sleep. One of my secret weapons in the battle for good sleep is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy or HBOT. I have found this brilliant centre in Malaysia run by Sayaka Misumi of Japanese Healing which has been a game changer for me. Check out this article by News Hub Asia if you didn't quite get the good night sleep you wanted last night. https://lnkd.in/gWEkMguD #sleep #health #worldsleepday #Malaysia #corporatehealth

This is insightful especially considering the fact that most companies don't think it will happen to them... start with internal capacity building and scenario planning. #crisis #crisismanagement #business
In the News: ASEAN must leverage Australia to boost economic resilience — Malaysia Global Business Forum A little bit of context, when the cost of doing business with a country is just one pen stroke away from rising by 25% without much warning then businesses and those economic planners in other countries need to imagine that this could happen "without warning" to your country or industry. Actually, because it can happen to anyone then everyone needs to prepare. "A complementary strategy that considers the disruptive actions of major global powers means that smaller economies must not only survive but thrive despite ever-evolving crises across the waves. Australia, as another middle power, is the right partner for this endeavour,” Read the full article https://lnkd.in/grfHveie Thank you to Harizah Hanim Mohamed from Bernama who put together this important article. I'm a big fan of people who look for solutions and foundations to build on not just the journalist who look for the quick wins and click bait, well done. Thank you to the other media who picked up the story including The Edge Malaysia, The New Straits Times Press (Malaysia) Berhad, Star Media Group Berhad and Bernama TV 🇲🇾. Thank you to my researchers and interns at the Malaysia Global Business Forum who helped with some of the background work and data. #ASEAN #Malaysia #Australia #business #governmentrelations #trade #policy #news #newscoverage #comments #opinion #NordinAbdullah #Trump

A critical area of crisis management is controlling social media. #crisis #crisismanagement #Malaysia #asean #crisiscommunications #governmentrelations
A quick chat with the Minister of Communication YB Fahmi Fadzil and Nordin Abdullah The regulatory environment is shifting in Malaysia, one area that has seen considerable developments is the social media and media ecosystems. The question that needs to be addressed from a corporate sector is how are these changes being monitored and managed for the benefit of stakeholders? The Malaysia Global Business Forum advocates for successful outcomes for its members while providing a powerful platform to communicate with stakeholders in government, community and the broader business community. This together with an attention to detail ensures that members will see the MGBF as part of its “suite of strategic solutions” in the dynamic business environment that is Malaysia and ASEAN. The next event will be the MGBF Roundtable: Corporate Community Involvement in Sports that will focus on the emerging area of Corporate Community Involvement in Sports. The goal of the roundtable to understand the gaps in the corporate – community ecosystem and how involvement in sports by the corporate sector will create value in terms of community engagement, communications, stakeholder management and meeting CSR goals. With the hike in insurance costs in Malaysia, hopefully there will be a shift in thinking, prevention is better than cure. Something that I have always been a big fan of is Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, i first used it after getting dengue. HBOT has emerged as a groundbreaking treatment blending innovation with natural healing. Known for its link to Japan’s wellness philosophy, this therapy leverages the power of oxygen to rejuvenate the body, improve circulation, and enhance overall vitality. HBOT is a treatment that saturates the body with high oxygen concentrations, promoting cellular repair and reducing inflammation. It helps accelerate recovery, enhance mental clarity, and boost physical performance by improving oxygen flow throughout the body.
